European Aquatics is delighted to announce that tickets are now on sale for the open water swimming events at the European Aquatics Championships Paris 2026. Taking place on the River Seine from 4 to 8 August, the open water programme promises to be one of the most exciting highlights of a landmark summer of aquatics in Paris.

The competition will be held on the Île aux Cygnes, a unique island setting in the heart of the city that offers exceptional views along the Seine. Unlike a traditional stadium event, ticket holders are free to move around the island throughout each session, following the swimmers through several points as the races develop, making it a truly unique experience.

The programme features seven races across four days. The 10km events open proceedings on Tuesday 4 August, with the Men’s race at 10:00 and the Women’s at 14:30. The 5km races follow on Wednesday 5 August at the same times, before the 3km Knockout Sprints bring a different kind of intensity on Friday 7 August — Women’s at 10:00 and Men’s at 15:00. The programme concludes on Saturday 8 August with the 4x1500m Mixed Relay at 10:00. All times are Paris local time.

Beyond the racing, fans can also enjoy a range of on-site activities, alongside Arena and European Aquatics stands and a variety of food and drink outlets available throughout each session. Please note that tickets do not include a grandstand seat.
