European Aquatics President Antonio Silva has signed a framework agreement for the relocation of the European Aquatics Headquarters to Serbia, in a special ceremony held in Belgrade. The agreement was signed with the Minister of Sports and Marko Kešelj, State Secretary at the Ministry of Sports. President Silva was accompanied to the ceremony by European Aquatics Vice President Vania Udovičić.

This signing represents a major milestone in the relocation process, following the decision approved at the EA Congress in Tbilisi in 2025. The next steps include approval of the Lex EA law by the Serbian Parliament, defining the legal framework for the relocation, as well as the convening of an extraordinary European Aquatics Congress to approve the necessary constitutional amendments.
