European Aquatics has published the official bulletin for the 2026 artistic swimming clinic, confirming that the event will take place at the X-Bionic Sphere in Samorin, Slovakia, from 6–8 November 2026.
The clinic forms a central component of the organisation’s education pathway and reflects the priorities set out in the European Aquatics Strategic Plan 2024–2030, reinforcing the commitment to continuous learning across the artistic swimming community.
The three-day programme will bring together coaches, officials, athletes, managers and other members of the artistic swimming community from across Europe and beyond. Through presentations, practical sessions, panel discussions and interactive workshops, participants will explore the latest trends, technical updates and key topics shaping the sport’s future. The programme will feature contributions from European Aquatics experts alongside internationally recognised guest speakers from coaching, judging, performance science, choreography, athlete welfare and sports management.
The clinic will run immediately after the first-ever European Aquatics artistic swimming development camp, held at the same venue earlier that week, giving coaches taking part in the camp and its accompanying coaches course the opportunity to remain on-site and continue their educational experience through an extended programme.
A referee test will be held on the final day of the clinic. Officials must sit this test at least once every four years to remain on the European Aquatics referee list, and participation in the 2026 clinic is mandatory for officials wishing to be eligible for appointment at European Aquatics Championships in 2027. The clinic will also count toward the educational training required of officials wishing to officiate at European competitions in 2026.
Officials unable to attend in person but wishing to officiate in 2027 must contact the European Aquatics office and the EA Academy, complete an activity report for 2026, and submit it by 1 December 2026, with European Aquatics to determine separately whether additional training requirements can be fulfilled.
With the publication of the bulletin, European Aquatics formally invites members of the Artistic Swimming community to register via the European Aquatics Academy platform ahead of the registration deadline of 6 September 2026, ensuring continued excellence and development across the sport.
